My last appearance as bridesmaid

I've stopped accepting such roles... because... as far back as five years ago... I already thought that I was just way too OLD for it. But when Joanna asked me to be one of her bridesmaids back in January, I could not say "NO!!!" to her!

So, I found myself booking this long-haul flight on economy(!!!) for her 5th of June wedding in Switzerland. At 8:00-ish, the bridesmaids met the bride for HAM (hair and make-up), and by 12, we have gotten dressed at Julie's beautiful flat by the river, piled into a vintage Bentley, picked up the flowers, confused our young driver many times over, and made it to the castle for the wedding ceremony.
