Quote of the day

I read "The Alchemist" in 2002 or 2003. Since then, I've made it a point to grab every single book written by Paolo Coelho. Last year in May, I was in the Bangkok airport and I came across "Like the Flowing River," a collection of his columns. Very easy reading.

From his column "The Storm Approaches":

"I have witnessed many storms in my life. Most storms have taken me by surprise, and so I've had to learn -- and very quickly to -- to look farther off, to understand that I cannot control the weather, to practise the art of patience, and to respect nature's fury. Things do not always happen the way I would have wanted, and it's best that I get used to that."

    QUOTE OF THE DAY:

We all live in our own world. But if you look up at the starry sky,
you will see that all the different worlds up there combine to form constellations, solar systems, galaxies.
    (Veronika Decides to Die)

    Have a nice day!

    Aart
