Go out and vote!

Yesterday, Lorenzo, Ivy and Ginger and I exercised our right and obligation to vote. The overseas voting process here in HK is exactly how it will be in the Philippines on 10 May. Here though, we are lucky to have one whole month to vote. All went smoothly yesterday!

Lorenzo, Ginger and Ivy arriving at the Bayanihan Kennedy Town Centre

Going up the stairs to the polling centre

4 floors of precincts

Checking our respective precinct #s

Ivy getting her precinct #

Lorenzo going up to the 4th floor to vote

That's me -- just after the vote

Evidence - indelible ink on our forefingers!
Thanks to the consulate and the many volunteers who made voting such a pleasant experience. I wanted to take a picture of the PCOS machine but that was not allowed. I was the 347th voter in precinct 50A. They expect 5,000 voters per precinct. Just come prepared with your list and I promise you it will be a breeze. Go out and vote then celebrate a block away at Zigzag with a bianca chicken mini-pizza, cheese quiche, and escargots! Just like we did!!!
