HK's old vs new (in Tai Kok Tsui)

I was walking from the MTR to a friend's flat in Tai Kok Tsui the other day. I took these pictures. They looked kind of nicer after I played with the colours. There is a lot of the old Hong Kong in Tai Kok Tsui --- but the new developments are sprouting like crazy. I hope we do not lose all of the old. They look so ... umm ... timeless (?) next to the new.
