I was in the Tokyo Narita airport yesterday afternoon when the thought of a Japanese tea party with a few friends came to mind. I got us some Japanese pastries and green tea at the airport. A bottle of cava, leftover from a recent dinner party, was the only non-Japanese item on the menu! We were totally entertained by the black and white images of old Hong Kong, Gloria Romero, Dolphy, Ric Rodrigo, Paraluman and other stars in "Hong Kong Holiday" flashing in the background. Thanks to Ginger, Ivy, and Soy for the enjoyable afternoon!!!
Thanks for bringing the tasty treats all the way from Narita airport. And the movie made the afternoon tea even more special! It was fun trying to spot the HK places - as well as trying to use deep Filipino words in our conversations :))
