On reunions

I would like to think that it's the Christmas season and not age-ing that is making me quite the sentimental slob these days. It all started with John "announcing" that he was on his way to Manila. As I haven't seen him and his girlfriend Ghie in years, we agreed to meet up in Manila. I sent an FB message to some of our classmates, and before we knew it, we had our instant reunion. It was so hastily arranged that I missed some.

This is the group that I used to go to the movies or eat out with after exams which were, more often than not, natural disasters. I laughed with them. I cried buckets with them. I had the most wholesome of parties with them. (Hardly anyone drinks alcohol -- up to this day!) In the end, we all managed to survive. Some better than others. Frankly, my head is still spinning 25 years after getting my Math degree.

So where/how did we end up? Of the 11 pictured here, there are 4 actuaries, 2 bankers, 2 Math professors (1 with a PhD!), 2 entrepreneurs (they own a Kumon school so, in fact, they are Math teachers), and 1 in Telecoms. Yes, we are so d*** predictable.  Blame it on logic. 10 of us are right smack in the middle of the bell curve with only 1 (Telecoms)  outlyer. Well, Seseth, it seems to be you have the wildest imagination of us all!

Dinner: John, me, Minay, Bong, Cecil, Bullet, Tess, Cayen, Arlene, Malou, Seseth

Dessert: we all love sweets

I don't have any pictures with Ghie. She became our official photographer.
