A lot has happened since my last post in January. If I was running on empty eight months ago, I am absolutely brimming with excitement today. I just bought a beautiful one-bedroom garden flat in the one of the best parts of Makati. I got myself a new project!
After viewing more than a dozen apartments since March, I finally found one that I simply have to have. I viewed and bidded (actually, I just lifted the offer two minutes after I entered the premises) for it on 19 July, agreed with the seller the next day, and got the keys (as my bank account was drained) two weeks later on 4 August. My friend RR is masterminding the minor renovation and furnishing of the place. Fingers crossed, I will be living in it a month from now. Well, my real life is still in Hong Kong. By living there, what I really mean is that I will be spending one or two weekends there every month for awhile.

I can't wait to experience life in good ole 'Pinas again!!!
