Sassy Joy and Sassy Me A couple of weeks before my trip to NY, I sent this email to my girlfriends in the US:
Hi Sassy Ladies,
I will be arriving in NY in the evening of Sunday, 14 October. My flight itinerary is attached.
I looked at the seminar schedule. We have a group dinner on Monday. Aside from that, no plans for the evenings. When can I see you, ladies?
Cheska, are you, by any chance, coming to NY? =) I am staying at the Club Quarters Midtown, 40 West 45th. You are very welcome to join me!

Yes, we have been calling ourselves "Sassy Gals" or "Sassies" since highschool. Joy's daughter Allyn read the email and her reaction:
