Today, I weighed myself!
last year = 113 lbs
vs
today = 122 lbs
When I am happy, I tend to eat a lot. I like my weight now but with all these lunches and dinners and those deeelicioussss chocolates that always find their way to my desk, the likelihood of adding more lbs is increasing by the day.

If you were in my shoes and have been given these three choices, which one would you choose:
1. Diet.
2. Work out more, longer, and harder.
3. Date only men who are at least twice your weight (This goes for friends as well ... hang out only with those heavier than you...)!

??????
well I could not be friends with you anymore then.....I choose the first two options then, the combination that still alows for chocolate.....I think I am off to the gym dear.....;-)thanks for the reminder.....yours Joanna
ReplyDeletei however choose the first one! you gals know me, i am not a gym person...are we still friends dear? :p -ghis
ReplyDelete#1 & #2 work for me. It'll be pretty difficult for me to find someone twice my weight :) And now I know why Missy likes hanging out with me so much..... Bessie
ReplyDeletei personally subscribe to #2 - you eat more, you work out more.
ReplyDeletei'm not really a believer in diets, especially those fad diets. they're all marketing and just too gimmicky - dodgy, at times.
LOL Missy, I applaud your courage in posting your weight online for everyone to see! I vote for #s 1&2. Option #3 doesn't work...take it from me. I myself have gained a bit (o sige na nga, a lot) of weight in the past year. When I voiced my concern to my doctor, he said it was simply my metabolism slowing down because I am not getting any younger. So now, we have to put in double effort when we exercise & diet if we want to maintain our pre-middle age (yes, we are middle-aged already) weight & figure.
