This pochette is one of my favorites in the Louis Vuitton collection. In my opinion, it (or something similar) is an essential piece of one's wardrobe. The hubby and I were racking our brains trying to think of a birthday gift for dear sistah Ching. I (will you believe me if I say "we") thought this suits her: simple, practical, and timeless. In fact, like most of the monogram canvas pieces, it looks better after many years of frequent use.
And, we also got her the bolt key holder to lengthen the shoulder strap.
I love giving useful gifts. A few years ago when I was still living in Switzerland, some friends and I got the pochette in Monogram Multicolore for Joanna. When I found the shoulder strap too short, the SA in LV Basel suggested adding the bolt key holder. What an excellent idea!
