Although it was a short visit, we found plenty of things to do. We went to the library (wish we could have a public library in every Philippine city), did a bit of shopping, ate out lots, and enjoyed a wine-tasting tour of the Chateau Ste Michelle. We also made time for some home-cooked meals (steamed dungeness crabs, pan-seared scallops, karekare, lechon kawali, pinakbet!) and to chat and listen to music with family and friends. I had a very relaxing time, nevermind, the long-haul flights to and from.
