Christmas Eve - At the Schmidts. Cindy cooked up a feast (Spinach, Salmon & Egg Salad, Cindy's Secret Russian Soup, Jamie Oliver's Pasta with Mussels, Jamie Oliver's Leg of Lamb with Aubergine, Belgian Chocolate Ice Cream). We were too busy to take pictures. All I have is this picture of Luca just before he bid us good night.
Christmas Day - At my place with the Schmidts and Jean Bermas. Arnold Juan and family were also invited. But, Arnold could not make it. Next time. We had BBQ and stir-fried veggies. Simple fare. Luca enjoyed crawling under the dining table. He slept in the guest room for awhile too. It was a nice, relaxing way to spend Christmas day with the Schmidts who will be going back to Basel soon (way too soon!) and with Jean who is very rarely in Hong Kong!
