Bel, Dors, & Janet in HK

Doreen, Bel, and Janet came to HK for a short break from work this weekend. They are all very successful and have quite a lot of responsibility... and stress... back home. I was so happy when they told me that they will finally come over for a big Christmas shopping weekend. In fact, I was in Tokyo on business the early part of last week and was excitedly thinking about their visit the whole time. I love it when there is something for me to look forward to! Finally, they arrived around midnight of Thursday, 29 November.

As promised, I brought them to my favorite shopping haunts in Central and Sham Shui Po. We were very successful! Doreen was able to buy over a hundred gifts. Bel and Janet were not too far behind. And, though I declared that I had stopped giving Christmas pressies already, they teased me non-stop after I ended up being second to Doreen after we compared shopping bills. Well, all I can say is this: my relatives back home will be pleasantly surprised! And, I did get a Christmas tree -- my very first since I moved to HK seven years ago! It uses fibre-optic technology!

We were tired in the evenings thus stayed home eating, singing, chatting, watching DVDs, and taking pictures!

Before we knew it, it was already Sunday. Time for the three girls to go back home to Manila. But, not before some last-minute shopping in Pacific Place and celebrating mass in Mt Carmel's.

  2. Dear Janet,

It was my pleasure to have all three of you visit me in HK. I laughed, shopped and ate so much! And, I learned a new word which I probably should not mention here.

Thanks for all those compliments! =)

    See you on Sunday,
    Missy
