Lillian in HK

Lillian, her hubby Peter and kids Max and Lia arrived in HK on Thursday evening. They flew in from Munich while the rest of the clan came from Manila especially for Auntie Emma's birthday. I had to work on Thursday and Friday hence could only see them on Saturday. We met at the Marco Polo HK Hotel.

As it was a nice day, the Eders and I decided to go to the Peak and then to the Mid-levels escalator (Max wanted to see what may be the longest escalator in the world --his teacher said that it is in HK. I am guessing that that's it!).

After a bit of sightseeing, we took the ferry back to Tsim Sha Tsui. We had dinner at Arirang (in Ocean Terminal). It was Auntie Emma's birthday treat for the family plus me (na nakiki-family na rin).

I thought my life was rather uneventful until I started blogging. Now, I know that there is always something fun, exciting or, at least, just plain nice happening to me. Seeing my best friend (since Grade 1!) and her family in HK tops the list. I am grateful!

  2. Missy, you have always been part of any major event in our family.

We did have fun that day. Max and Lia tells everyone about the never ending elevators and your Octopus pass which gave you faster entry to the public transpo while we had to line up.

Thanks to you, I don't have to make the kids album anymore. I will just refer them to your blog...hehehehe..Just have to make sure to look good when you start clicking your camera!
