I had the most pleasant surprise last weekend when we went to the Cowrie Grill in Greenhills. Yes, Manila Hotel's Cowrie Grill has just moved to a more convenient venue. It's modern decor is also most welcome. The last time I was at the Manila Hotel was two or three years ago and I was dismayed at how the hotel had gone to seed. I hope that they've renovated by now.
Craving for a steak, I ordered T-bone which I found to be so juicy and really delicious. I got a proper medium-rare steak! Even in HK, there are times when restaurants give me medium when I ask for medium-rare.
I also found the price reasonable considering what I got. I shall return.
