We did some renovating in our house. One of the additions is a half-court for my nephew who lives and breathes basketball! This has turned out be an extremely good idea. Just this Saturday, my niece Rei and nephew Carlos invited Isabel and her brother Mio over for a game.

When my sisters and I were growing up, we used to play lots of games with our parents. Mostly card and boardgames (we were not a very sporty family). I look back at those memories with fondness. My brother-in-law Alvin is quite athletic and his kids take after him. Even my sister Ria can shoot some hoops now! In a few years, they too will have some precious family moments to remember!
