We were at Brasserie Girolle for lunch a few Saturdays ago to celebrate my Dad's birthday. Good food + good service + casual ambience = a place for clowning around. I saw my niece and nephew taking pictures and found a way to join the fun!
Sorry, we dug in as soon as the food came so I forgot to take pictures of the salade lyonnais (I am a big fan of a properly poached egg since The Book Bindery @ Seattle.) and the steak, both of which we absolutely loved. The chef, Ian Padilla, even came to our table to greet us. That was such a nice touch.
We shall return.
