I’ve been to quite a number of restaurants that serve peking duck in all these years living in Hong Kong. In my humble opinion, Peking Garden serves the best Barbecued Peking Duck. One of their secrets is the pancake. They do this soooo well. Not too thin, not too thick. Once again, in my humble opinion, duck is best served this way: 2 or 3 thin slivers of skin and meat with slices of fresh spring onions and cucumber topped with Peking Garden’s secret sweet sauce and wrapped in the perfect pancake. In other words, a peking duck burrito.
I usually go to Peking Garden in Alexandra House in Central. Normally, I would not be able to bear the setting. The restaurant is in the basement with no windows. But, because I love their duck so much, I just keep on going back. On my last visit, there were just four of us, so, the duck, 2 small side dishes and dessert were just right for us.

It's been my experience that Peking Garden may, at times, be fully booked. It is tourist-ee. But, if I desperately wanted the duck, I would walk-in at odd hours like 6:30 or 8:00 in the evening and small groups could usually be accommodated.
