Of course, we had to have a good, decent lunch before seeing “The Phantom of the Opera”. We had booked seats in the matinee. Pizzeria Mozza is right across the Mastercard Theaters and was most convenient for this purpose. I would call it a typical Mario Batali et al restaurant: casual yet dressed up ambience, lots of space, Italian-American menu. I am a happy diner when I do not have to listen to what people at the tables around are talking about! So, yes, I love this restaurant! It was my first time there. We ordered 4 dishes plus desert. If I go back, I could order at least 3 of those again.
Being the Neanderthals that we are, we asked for tabasco. The waiter teasingly reminded us that we should nevehhrrrr ask for tabasco in an Italian restaurant ... as he handed us some chili pepper flakes.

Squash blossoms stuffed with ricotta
All-meat pizza
Tiramisu
Is it obvious? I love Singapore!!!
